The Canadian Environmental Network (RCEN) was invited by Environment Canada to select one (1) ENGO delegates to participate in 8th meeting of the Task Force on POPs (Persistent Organic Pollutants) under the POPs Protocol of the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution (LRTAP). This meeting was to be held in Montreal, Canada, from May 18-20, 2010. 

Please note that no funding was provided for RCEN delegate participation and that no delegate was selected for this informational meeting.

The chemicals on the agenda for this meeting were: pentachlorophenol (PCP), trifluralin, endosulfan, dicofol and hexabromocyclododecane (HBCD).
