Chemicals Management Plan Capacity-Building Project

In partnership with Environmental Defence, the RCEN coordinates this research and outreach project to enhance civil society engagement in the Government of Canada’s Chemicals Management Plan (CMP). This project is open to all civil society stakeholders, including RCEN members as well as health, labour, consumer, youth and First Nations organizations. Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) Global Outreach Campaign

In partnership with the International POPs Elimination Network (IPEN), the RCEN hosted a meeting in January 2008 to plan the SAICM NGO Global Outreach Campaign. Toxics Caucus members participated at this meeting and continue to contribute to the Campaign through outreach and the development of educational materials.
